Barrow-upon-Soar Station (Barrow-upon-Soar)
Barrow-upon-Soar Station serves the Leicestershire village of Barrow-upon-Soar.
It is on the main line from St. Pancras in London, which serves such places as St. Albans, Bedford, Kettering, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield.
Originally named Barrow-on-Soar and Quorn, the station formerly gained much business from the Quorn Hunt, but closed in 1968.
It opened in a new site in the 1990s, along with Syston and Sileby, on a section between Leicester and Loughborough known as the Ivanhoe Line.
