The details for Coach Trips during the rest of 2006 are now on line.
So you can look them up and get more detailed information, but in the meantime here is an idea of how the programme looks. All the trips start from St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester.
Wed 8 Mar Old Mercia Tour (around the borders with Staffordshire and Derbyshire, in the area that includes Repton, Melbourne, Tutbury and Breedon-on-the-Hill)
Sat 25 Mar Richmond (historic old town on the River Swale in Yorkshire, including a Guided Walk)
Wed 19 Apr Essex Tour (lovely county which some believe to be the essence of traditional England, visiting Saffron Walden, Halstead and Maldon, with an additional stop at Finchingfield)
Sat 13 May Wells (exquisite little cathedral city in Somerset, including a Guided Walk)
Sat 27 May Tissington (village in Derbyshire, which this weekend carries on the tradition of Well Dressing, followed by a visit to Bakewell)
Wed 7 Jun John Clare Country Tour (around the borders with Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, much loved by the poet John Clare)
Sun 25 Jun Heart of England Tour (the pretty county of Warwickshire, with a visit to Old Kenilworth)
Thur 13 Jul Captain Cook Country Tour (places in Yorkshire associated with the great mariner, visiting Marton, Staithes and Whitby)
Sat 29 Jul Ely (small cathedral city in Cambridgeshire with brilliant cathedral, Oliver Cromwell’s house and lovely waterside area, including a Guided Walk)
Mon 21 Aug Cirencester (Market Day visit to important Roman town with superb parish church, including a Guided Walk)
Wed 13 Sep Richard III Tour (the area covered by this tragic and much-maligned King on his last journey from Leicester to Market Bosworth, where he was killed in battle)
Sat 30 Sep Thames Valley Tour (the River Thames, perhaps the most famous river in the world, visiting Lechlade, Marlow and Windsor)
Wed 25 Oct New Forest Tour (an Autumn Colours Tour in Hampshire, visiting Lyndhurst, Lymington and Christchurch)
Wed 8 Nov Nottinghamshire Borders Tour (picturesque area around the River Trent, whose towns and villages include Newark, Southwell and Bottesford)
Sat 25 Nov Hereford (cathedral city in delightful Herefordshire, including a Guided Walk)
