Bedford Station (Bedford)

Bedford Station, known originally as Bedford Midland Road, serves the Bedfordshire county town of Bedford.

The station was built in 1859 by C.H.Driver, but was replaced by the present station in 1978.

Trains reach Bedford from St. Pancras Station in London, via St. Albans and Luton, and continue to Kettering, Market Harborough, Leicester, Market Harborough, Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield.

Another line runs across country to Fenny Stratford and Bletchley.
