Much Enjoyed Trip to Southwold
I recently took a party from Leicester on a very successful Coach Trip to Southwold.
This delightful seaside town on the Suffolk coast is one of my personal favourites, and I am glad to say that it always goes down well when I take a coach there.
After we left St. Margarets Bus Station, we took the main road that bypasses Kettering and Huntingdon, and made our morning stop for coffee etc at the National Stud at Newmarket. I always make sure that the morning stop is somewhere with some interest as well as having refreshments available. Everybody thought this was a very good stop.
Then it was on through Suffolk, taking a picturesque route through such lovely villages as Stonham Aspal, Dennington and Yoxford, while I gave a commentary along the way.
At Southwold, I led a Guided Walk, including a stroll beside the sea, pointing out such places of interest as Southwold Pier, the Lighthouse, St. Edmunds Church and of course the famous greens.
Then on the way back we crossed over the magnificent Orwell Bridge giving views of Ipswich, and made our evening stop at Cambridge Services.
My Visitors` Book has such comments as "scenic coach trip and good guided walk", "many thanks for a very interesting and informative day", "my first trip with Mr Crosby, hope to go on others" and "first trip, very enlightening and entertaining".
If you haven`t been on one of these trips yet, why not make a booking now? You can find the listing on this website under "Upcoming Events".
