Sileby Station (Sileby)
Sileby Station is the railway station which serves the Leicestershire village of Sileby.
It is situated only a few minutes walk from the village centre.
The station was closed in 1968 under the Marples Axe, along with neighbouring stations at Barrow-upon-Soar and Syston.
However, these stations were reopened in the 1990s as part of the Ivanhoe Line project, which has otherwise not come to fruition.
Trains run between Leicester and Loughborough via Syston, Sileby and Barrow-upon-Soar.
