Trinity Marina (Hinckley)
Trinity Marina is an interesting development on the outskirts of the Leicestershire market town of Hinckley.
It is situated on the Ashby Canal, with plenty of accommodation for all types of craft, and has a shop which can supply a wide range of boating needs.
There is also a good restaurant on the site, which is behind the same company’s car showrooms.
The Ashby Canal is a canal without locks. Originally designed to serve Ashby-de-la-Zouch, it runs from the Coventry Canal near Bedworth to Measham.
Trinity Marina can be reached from Coventry Road, to the West of Hinckley, and just off the A5 Watling Street.
It is used as the starting point for some of Colin Crosby’s Guided Walks.
