Ely Station (Ely)
Ely Station serves the outstanding cathedral city of Ely in the Fens.
The line runs beside the River Great Ouse, past the lovely Riverside, and with glorious views of Ely Cathedral.
The station is an important junction.
A line runs from Birmingham via Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Oakham, Stamford and Peterborough, and continues to Cambridge and Stansted Airport.
Another line runs to Brandon, Thetford, Attleborough and Norwich.
There is also a branch line to Kings Lynn.
Yet another line gives access to Bury St. Edmunds, Ipswich and Colchester.
Another line, long closed, ran across country to St. Ives (Cambridgeshire), Huntingdon and Kettering.
