Hallowe`en at Loughborough (A Guided Walk in Loughborough)
"Hallowe`en at Loughborough" is one of the very popular ghostly walks devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These strolls are a great way of soaking up some Local History.
Hallowe`en always falls on 31st October. It has been for many centuries been regarded as the most haunted night of the year, when the boundaries between the worlds of the living and of the dead become blurred, making it easier to move from one to the other.
If you are going to see a ghost, this is the most likely night.
This walk is around the old market town of Loughborough, whose atmospheric streets lend themselves perfectly to tales of hauntings.
Colin regales the group with stories of ghosts and hauntings, including some from places where he has previously lived.
Among other ghost walks which Colin leads are "Haunted Leicester", "The Haunted City", "The Shades of Night", "Walk in Dread", "Haunted Belgrave" and "Ghosts and Graveyards".
