Sutton Coldfield Group Shown Leicestershire
I recently led a Coach Trip around Leicestershire for a group from Sutton Coldfield.
It was "A Taste of Leicestershire", which I lead in association with Greatdays.
I met the group at Wanlip Services, and took them through the historic city of Leicester and the delightful market town of Market Harborough, into High Leicestershire and to lovely Hallaton, where we made a brief stop.
Then we drove through the countryside to Scalford Hall, where the group were booked for lunch.
From there, a few minutes drive took us to Melton Mowbray. I took them to Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe, where each was given an individual pork pie.
Finally I took them to Oakham, the tiny county town of the tiny county of Rutland.
Everybody always enjoys these trips.
