Biddulph Farmers See Leicestershire
I recently took a party from the Biddulph branch of the National Farmers` Union on a Coach Tour around Leicestershire.
It was the tour which I run in conjunction with Greatdays entitled "A Taste of Leicestershire".
Meeting the group at Wanlip Services, I took them through the historic city of Leicester and through Market Harborough, making a stop at the delightful village of Hallaton.
Another meander through the county took the group to Scalford Hall, where lunch had been arranged.
Next it was Melton Mowbray. I took them to Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe, where everybody was presented with their own hand raised Melton Mowbray pork pie.
The last stop on the tour was Oakham, the little county town of Rutland, after which they all went home.
This tour always goes down well with visitors.
