Windsor Royal Shopping (Windsor)
Windsor Royal Shopping is the name of an unusual retail complex in the historic old town of Windsor on the River Thames.
It is situated in the pedestrianised approach to Windsor and Eton Central Station, where a branch line arrives in the town from Slough over a long curved viaduct.
The approach is extensive because it was much used by Queen Victoria when visiting Windsor Castle, one of her residences.
The station is still there, connected to the busy coach park by a footbridge.
Windsor Royal Shopping contains places of refreshment and shops of an exclusive nature, as well as the Tourist Information Centre.
