Stoke-on-Trent Station (Stoke-on-Trent)

Stoke-on-Trent Station is the railway station serving the city of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire.

It is the second station here, the first having closed in 1848.

One line approaches from Euston Station in London, by way of Milton Keynes, Rugby, Nuneaton, Tamworth and Lichfield.

Another comes from Birmingham and Stafford.

From Stoke-on-Trent a line runs to Crewe and Liverpool.

Another goes to Stockport and Manchester.

There were a number of branch lines in the area, mostly for industrial purposes.

Amongst these a line went to Keele and Market Drayton, and another to Leek.
