Church Street (Rothley)

Church Street is one of several picturesque streets in the attractive village of Rothley in Leicestershire.

There are several pretty cottages, including one with a cruck frame, and at the bottom of the street is The Woodman's Stroke, a popular public house.

At the top of the street is the mediaeval St. Mary and St. John Church, which has the 9th century Rothley Cross in the churchyard.
