Nuneaton Station (Nuneaton)
Nuneaton Station is the railway station that serves the large town of Nuneaton in Warwickshire.
It is an important junction, and is situated on the edge of the town centre.
Trains for Nuneaton from London leave from Euston Station, and come by way of Watford, Milton Keynes and Rugby.
They continue to Tamworth, Lichfield, Crewe and Liverpool or Manchester.
This line is crossed by an important cross country line from Birmingham New Street Station, which continues to Leicester, Stamford, Peterborough, Ely and Stansted Airport.
There is also a short line running shuttle services to Coventry.
Yet another line formerly ran to Market Bosworth and Burton-on-Trent. Part of this now operates as the steam Battlefield Line.
