Great Meeting (Hinckley)

The Great Meeting is an interesting non-Conformist chapel in the Leicestershire town of Hinckley.

Situated in Baines Lane, it can be approached from Bond Street through the archway of Atkins` factory.

The chapel was built in 1722 for the Unitarians, and is still in use.

The original galleries survive, as well as the alcoves for the 18th century theological students who attended an academy that was established here.

There is a better known Great Meeting in Leicester.
