Warwickshire Borders Made for a Popular Tour
A recent Coach Trip that I led, as part of my year round programme, was "Warwickshire Borders Tour".
This was one of the morning tours, popular with everybody, but especially those who would rather not be out all day.
As always, we set out from St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester, and at first took a rural route through Stanford-on-Avon and Swinford, and then through the historic towns of Rugby and Dunchurch.
Our coffee stop, always somewhere out of the ordinary, was at Benedict`s at Coventry Cathedral.
On the way back, we went through anotherr couple of interesting towns, Nuneaton and Hinckley.
My Visitors` Book attracted such comments as "very enjoyable trip once again and good company", "scenic countryside and great modern cathedral for tea stop" and "Coventry a good idea, another triumph for Colin".
