Tour Around the Derbyshire Borders
A recent Coach Trip which I devised and led was the Derbyshire Borders Tour.
This was one of the very popular Morning Tours, which are much loved by people who prefer to be out for half a day.
The tour, as the title implies, was around the fascinating area on the borders between Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
We always make a stop about halfway round, where passengers can buy tea, coffee, cakes etc. It's always somewhere interesting, and this time it was at Royal Crown Derby.
Later on, we visited Breedon-on-the-Hill, where I was able to speak to the passengers inside the very historic St. Mary and St. Harduph Church, and to show everyone the amazing view.
The Visitors' Book contains such comments as "another enjoyable trip", "pleasant instructive trip", "pleasurable stop for coffee at Royal Crown Derby" and "Colin interesting as always".
