The Spooking of the Cubs
I took a party of Cubs on a spinetingling tour of the ghostliest parts of Old Leicester recently.
The Cubs were from packs at Birstall and Bradgate.
I led them on their own version of my very popular "Haunted Leicester" Guided Walk, which investigates the lonely streets of Leicester's half-forgotten Old Town, where many ghosts are said to lurk.
Starting at the Town Hall, they heard about ghostly monks and kings, and the story of the terrifying Black Annis, whose ghost is said to still appear near the Turret Gateway.
