National Fine Art and Antiques Fair
I had an interesting day recently at the National Fine Art and Antiques Fair.
I had been invited to this show, which took place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) at Birmingham.
It was very nice to be able to saunter about, looking at fine paintings, cutlery, maps, clocks and any number of beautiful things.
There was work by such personages as E. H., Shepard, L. S. Lowry, Mary Tourtel and Heath Robinson, and I admired - not for the first time - the astonishing paintings of Michael John Hunt of Sandwich.
There was a high proportion of stands manned by people from the Cotswolds, in particular Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold.
