Join Me on Coach Trips in 2010
I have a great programme of Coach Trips lined up for 2010. They all leave from St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester, which is nice and central for anybody living in Leicestershire.
So if you are a regular, or an occasional participant, or even if you have never been on one of my excursions, here are some thoughts to whet your appetite.
There are several trips to historic towns / cities, all of which include my own Guided Walk showing lots of points of interest.
You could chose from Wells, the delightful little cathedral city in Somerset; Lancaster, ancient city and seaport on the River Lune; Portsmouth, Britain`s premier maritime city with a wealth of history; Leominster, with its outstanding priory church and thriving market; Maldon, the lovely little Essex town with a salty air; and Worcester, the historic cathedral city where the Christmas market should be in full swing.
Then there are the trips where we stop for an hour each at three nice towns.
These include Derbyshire Tour, with a chance to view some of the outstanding parts of the Peak District; Colchester and Constable Country, on the borders of Essex and Suffolk, combining England`s oldest town and finest landscape painter; North Wales Tour, venturing deep into Snowdonia; and Wyre Forest Tour, this year`s Autumn Forest Tour, this time keeping close to the River Severn.
Then there`s the famous St. Albans Festival; Tamworth and Lichfield, with a couple of hours at each of these historic towns; and this year`s Sunday afternoon tour of Kenilworth and the Heart of England.
Add to all that the morning trips, which this time are Warwickshire Borders Tour; Welland Valley Tour; Charnwood Forest Tour; and Mysterious Leicestershire Tour.
Go on, take the plunge!
