Everybody Loved Worcester

A recent Coach Trip which I led, as part of my public programme, was "Worcester".

As always, we left St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester in the morning. We made our way Westwards until we reached Freasley, just outside Tamworth, where we made our morning stop for coffee etc at the excellent Planters Garden Centre. This proved to be a very popular choice.

Then it was on to the historic cathedral city of Worcester, where I led the customary Guided Walk. It was a very cold day indeed, but everybody felt that it was a lovely city with many interesting buildings.

On the way back, we made a stop at Watford Gap Services.

My Visitors` Book attracted such comments as "very enjoyable, great atmosphere and lots to see and do", "New Street is the best in England", "an interesting Guided Walk showing what a lovely city Worcester is" and "splendid day out, most informative".
