Cleethorpes
Cleethorpes is a popular seaside resort in Humberside, formerly Lincolnshire, coterminous with Grimsby.
The older part of the town, a little inland, is called Old Clee and has a Norman church.
Modern Cleethorpes was deliberately created in the 19th century by the railway company.
Cleethorpes Pier is now a stump, having been breached during the Second World War.
