A Sunday Morning Stroll Around Rothley
I led a very pleasant Sunday morning Guided Walk for a group recently. It was a version of my "Rothley" walk, which features on my public programme every year.
The walk was for the Loughborough company Astra Zeneca.
I showed the group lots of interesting aspects of the delightful Leicestershire village of Rothley, including the Anglo-Saxon Rothley Cross in the churchyard and the little known village green known as Town Green.
The group were also treated to a look inside the surviving Knights Templar Chapel.
Any group wishing to be shown around this lovely village is welcome to get in touch.
