Wells-next-the-Sea Station (Wells-next-the-Sea)

Wells-next-the-Sea Station is the railway station serving the Norfolk coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea.

The short line runs to the famous little pilgrimage town of Walsingham. The line closed in 1963, but has been reopened as a tourist attraction.

The line formerly continued Southwards to Fakenham, North Elmham, Dereham and Wymondham. The section between Dereham and Wymondham has been reopened as a steam railway.

Another line formerly ran to Burnham Market and Heacham.

The original terminus is now a pottery centre and bookshop.

The Wells Harbour Railway is a light railway running for a mile beside the Embankment.
