Wells-next-the-Sea Station (Wells-next-the-Sea)
Wells-next-the-Sea Station is the railway station serving the Norfolk coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea.
The short line runs to the famous little pilgrimage town of Walsingham. The line closed in 1963, but has been reopened as a tourist attraction.
The line formerly continued Southwards to Fakenham, North Elmham, Dereham and Wymondham. The section between Dereham and Wymondham has been reopened as a steam railway.
Another line formerly ran to Burnham Market and Heacham.
The original terminus is now a pottery centre and bookshop.
The Wells Harbour Railway is a light railway running for a mile beside the Embankment.
