Shenfield Station (Shenfield)

Shenfield Station is the railway station serving the former village of Shenfield in Essex.

It was formerly known as Shenfield and Hutton, and is an important junction.

This is the second station on the site, the first having closed in 1850.

Trains from London leave from Liverpool Street Station, and arrive by way of Ilford, Romford and Brentwood.

They continue to Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich and Norwich.

Another line continues from here to Billericay, Rayleigh, Rochford and Southend.
