Higginson Park (Marlow)

Higginson Park is a riverside park at Marlow.

The main entrance is in Pound Lane.

The park began life as the grounds of Court Garden, a house overlooking the River Thames, which was built in 1758.

It became a public park in 1926, and now has sports facilities as well as mooring places for river cruisers and narrowboats. There is a statue of Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave, who won a gold medal five times.

The park has been home to the Marlow Town Regatta since the mid 19th century.
