Huntingdon Station (Huntingdon)
Huntingdon Station serves the historic old market town of Huntingdon, the birthplace of Oliver Cromwell.
It is situated on the edge of the old town, only a few minutes walk from the town centre.
Huntingdon is on the main line running Northwards from Kings Cross Station in London. Trains continue to such places as Peterborough, Grantham, Newark, Doncaster, York, Durham, Berwick-on-Tweed and Edinburgh.
A cross country line, closed in 1959, ran West to Kimbolton and Kettering, and East to St. Ives (Cambridgeshire), dividing there for Cambridge or Ely.
