St. John the Baptist Church (Glooston)
St. John the Baptist Church is the parish church of the tiny village of Glooston in High Leicestershire.
Although basically a mediaeval church, dating back to about 1300, it was largely rebuilt by Joseph Goddard in 1866 - 67.
It consists of nave and chancel, with a bellcote.
There are two piscinas, both of which have been damaged over the centuries.
The font is octagonal, and dates to about 1300.
