St. Andrew`s Church (Foxton)

St. Andrew`s is the parish church of the Leicestershire village of Foxton.

It is a mediaeval church, the base of the West tower dating from the 13th century, while the North porch is a little later, 14th century.

The Eastern part of the chancel was rebuilt in the 17th century.

There is a square Norman font, dating from the 12th century.

The church also contains a fragment of Anglo-Saxon sculpture, in the form of a cross.

In the churchyard is a length of cob wall.
