Darley Park (Derby)
Darley Park is a large urban park in Derby.
The main entrance is in Darley Park Drive.
Darley Park lies within walking distance of Derby City Centre, and offers fine views across the city.
A large area of unspoilt parkland, it has the River Derwent running through it, and it is now part of the World Heritage Corridor that runs along the river.
As well as the expected flowers etc, there is also a designated Tree Trail, taking in thirty varieties, from Japanese maple to Tibetan cherry.
The park was given to the city by the Evans family.
