Clacton Station (Clacton)
Clacton Station is the railway station that serves the popular seaside resort of Clacton in Essex.
It was the coming of the railway in the 1880s, and of steamships in the same period, that led to the town`s development.
Clacton is the terminus of one of the lines to the Essex coast. Trains from London leave from Liverpool Street Station, and arrive by way of Brentwood, Chelmsford and Colchester.
