Chesterfield Station (Chesterfield)

Chesterfield Station is the railway station serving the market town of Chesterfield in Derbyshire.

It is housed in an attractive modern building.

Trains from London leave from St. Pancras Station, and arrive by way of Luton, Bedford, Leicester and Derby. They continue to Dronfield and Sheffield.

Chesterfield Central was on a loop of the Great Central, running between Heath and Beighton, and closed in 1963.

Chesterfield Market Place was the terminus of a line which ran to Arkwright Town, Bolsover, Edwinstowe and Lincoln.
