St. Mary`s Church (Caernarfon)
St. Mary`s Church is an old foundation at Caernarfon in North Wales.
It is situated in Church Street, within the walls of the old town.
The church was founded in 1307 for the garrison of Caernarfon Castle by Henry de Allerton, the castle`s assistant master mason. Much of the building, however, was reconstructed in the 19th century.
The church is attached to the inside of theTown Walls, and makes use of one of the drum towers as a bell tower and vestry.
