St. Catherines Church (Burbage)

St. Catherines is the parish church of Burbage, a Leicestershire village which is now virtually a suburb of Hinckley.

The West tower is battlemented and it has a parapet spire.

The chancel arch dates from the late 13th century, but most of the rest of the church was rebuilt in 1842.

The octagonal font is 14th century, and the South door is dated 1633.

The churchyard has a splendid collection of trees, which sometimes make a complete view of St. Catherine's difficult.
