Aylesbury Station (Aylesbury)

Aylesbury Station is the railway station that serves the old market town of Aylesbury.

Trains reach Aylesbury from London on two different lines.

Those leaving Marylebone Station come by way of Harrow-on-the-Hill, Rickmansworth and Amersham.

Trains from Paddington Station come via Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe and Princes Risborough.

The line from Marylebone was the Great Central, and continued to Rugby, Leicester and Nottingham.

There was formerly another station, Aylesbury High Street, which closed in 1953. Trains ran from here to Cheddington.
