Queniborough

Queniborough is an attractive Leicestershire village, a few miles to the North of Leicester, and close to Syston.

The village is best known for St. Mary's Church, whose beautiful needle spire is one of the finest in the land, and is a landmark for some miles around.

Queniborough Old Hall was used as headquarters by Prince Rupert when he accompanied his uncle Charles I at the Siege of Leicester in 1645.

The village street has a good number of picturesque cottages.

Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby is available to lead Guided Walks around Queniborough for groups.
