Old Romney

Old Romney is a tiny village in Kent, 2 miles from New Romney and on the edge of Romney Marsh.

Once an important port, it was superseded after changes to the coastline by New Romney, which became one of the Cinque Ports.

It stands beside the Rhee Wall, an ancient embankment built by the Romans.

St. Clement`s Church stands isolated from the village.
