Hougham
Hougham is a village in Lincolnshire, 5 miles from Grantham.
The correct pronunciation is "Hoffam".
It is separated from Marston by the River Witham, over which there is a picturesque old bridge.
All Saints Church dates from the mediaeval period, and has a secret air about it, being at the end of a lane, unsignposted from the main road.
The Manor is also unsigned, at the end of another lane. Its land contains a mediaeval moated site.
The spacious village green, beside the main road, is largely hidden by tree planting.
