Chilham
Chilham is an attractive village in Kent, 6 miles from Canterbury.
Chilham Castle is a mansion built, probably by Inigo Jones, in 1616 with gardens laid out by Tradescant and a park by Capability Brown. It is on the site of a Norman castle, whose keep survives.
The square, outside the castle gates, has an attractive group of timber framed houses and the 15th century St. Mary`s Church.
Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby is available to lead Guided Walks around Chilham for groups.
