Ashby Parva
Ashby Parva is a small village in Leicestershire, 3 miles from Lutterworth.
St. Peter`s Church dates from the 14th century, and has a Perpendicular West tower. The font is Norman, with a modern base. The stairs leading to the rood loft are preserved.
There are several timber framed farmhouses in the village.
Ashby Parva is believed to be where the famous Red Leicester cheese was first produced.
