The Grim Reapers London (A Guided Walk in London)
“The Grim Reapers London” is a Guided Walk devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours, as part of his year-round programme of walks and Coach Trips.
These strolls are an enjoyable way of soaking up some Local History.
This walk starts outside Fenchurch Street Station.
During this walk, Colin will discuss some of the ways in which Death has made his presence felt in London.
This includes murders, executions and famous pestilences such as the Great Plague.
Many famous people were executed at the Tower of London, including Lady Jane Grey, the 16 year old from Leicestershire who was Queen for nine days, Anne Boleyn, Thomas More and the Duke of Monmouth.
And of course murders in London included those by the most notorious serial killer of all time, the terrifying Jack the Ripper.
“The Grim Reapers London” is one of a number of walks led by Colin which explore the darker side of life in the capital. Others include “Haunted London”, “The Haunted Capital” and “Jack the Ripper”.
He also leads similar walks in Leicester, including “Haunted Leicester” and “The Grim Reaper”.
