Kings Lynn (A Coach Trip in Kings Lynn)

"Kings Lynn" is one of the popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.

These trips are a most enjoyable way of soaking up some Local History.

The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 8am, and is expected back about 9pm.

Colin will be giving his customary commentary along the way, bringing to life the fascinating sights and places encountered on the route and interpreting their background in his own inimitable way. This is one of the aspects that make Colin`s trips unique.

Kings Lynn is a very old and very interesting town, and has been a port, on the estuary of the River Great Ouse, for centuries. The town has a wealth of timber framed buildings.

As part of the trip, Colin leads a Guided Walk around Kings Lynn, pointing out many places of interest, including the elegant Custom House, Red Mount Chapel, Greyfriars Tower, St. Margarets Church and the enormous Tuesday Market Place.
