Caernarfon (A Coach Trip in Caernarfon)
"Caernarfon" is one of the many Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These excursions are a most enjoyable way of soaking up some Local History.
The coach for this trip leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester at 8am, and is due back at around 9pm.
Colin gives his customary commentary along the way, bringing to life the fascinating sights encountered along the route. It is this that makes Colin`s excursions unique.
Caernarfon is a busy town in North Wales, close to the Isle of Anglesey and on the edge of Snowdonia. It is one of the towns where Edward I built a mighty castle, which remains one of the most famous in Britain.
Colin leads a Guided Walk around Caernarfon as part of the trip. pointing out many places of interest, including Caernarfon Castle, the Town Walls and the terminus of the Welsh Highland Railway.
On the way, the coach will be passing through some of the splendid scenery of North Wales.
