Billesdon (A Guided Walk in Billesdon)
"Billesdon" is one of the popular Guided Walks devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These walks are an enjoyable way of learning some Local History.
The starting point is the Market Place in the sleepy village of Billesdon in High Leicestershire, with its Village Cross and War Memorial.
The route takes in most of the streets of this delightful village, and of course St. John the Baptist Church.
Colin points out many interesting locations, including the Old Grammar School, where George Fox and George Villiers were both scholars, and an old cob wall.
