Welland Valley Tour Was Much Enjoyed
I recently led another of my popular Coach Trips from Leicester. This time it was the morning trip entitled "Welland Valley Tour".
The format for the morning tours is that one stays on the coach for most of the journey, while I give a commentary on the fascinating sights and places along the route. About halfway round, we make a stop where tea, coffee, cakes etc can be bought. This is always somewhere interesting in its own right.
On this occasion, we left St. Margarets Bus Station as usual, and went through Market Harborough and under the celebrated Harringworth Viaduct, making a brief stop for photographs at Barrowden.
Then it was on through Rockingham and Crowland, before making our stop at Baytree Nurseries at Weston.
On the way back, we went through the charming small towns of Spalding and Stamford.
My Visitors` Book received such comments as "very enjoyable as usual, most interesting tour", "most enjoyable, my first trip with you, certainly not the last" and "very interesting and enjoyable trip, and nice stopping place Weston".
If you fancy going on a morning trip, the next one is "Charnwood Forest Tour".
