Weekend in Kempston
My wife Anne and I recently spent most of a weekend at Kempston near Bedford.
We stayed with our son Neil and his fiancee Becca (and greyhound Sora).
On the Saturday, we all (and Becca`s mother and her partner) walked out to Elstow, the historic village where John Bunyan was born.
We paid a visit to the parish church, built onto the remains of Elstow Abbey, and also visited the exquisite Elstow Tea Garden.
