The Illustrious Earls of Leicester
I gave my talk "The Illustrious Earls of Leicester" at a garden centre near Nuneaton recently.
It was at the vast Dobbies Garden Centre at Mancetter, between Nuneaton and Atherstone.
The management at this centre, realising that trade is not so brisk in the Winter months, arrange a series of talks on a variety of subjects, which they publicise around the local area. A ticket includes coffee etc on arrival, the talk and lunch.
This particular talk is on a subject that I find most fascinating. Among the famous people who have held the title Earl of Leicester are Simon de Montfort, John of Gaunt, Robert Dudley and Coke of Norfolk.
I am very happy to give this talk (or any other) to groups. If your club or society would be interested, do feel free to get in touch.
