Nearly Time for Leicester Comedy Festival
The highly acclaimed Leicester Comedy Festival is drawing near, and will be taking place from 5th to 21st February.
Seventeen days of comedy is pretty impressive, but appropriate as (in the city which is one of the oldest and largest in England) it is Britain`s longest running comedy festival, having started in 1994.
Some of the acts that can be seen during the seventeen days are John Bishop; Jimmy Carr; John Cooper Clarke; Julian Clary; Barry Cryer; Jenny Eclair; 4 Poofs and a Piano; Chas Hodges; Lee Mack; the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain; Tim Vine; and Michael Winner. A star studded line up indeed. Plus performances of The Rocky Horror Show.
The festival takes place at various venues around the city, including De Montfort Hall, the Belmont Hotel and Curve, and in other places around the county including Loughborough, Melton Mowbray and Oadby.
All I can add is Walk This Way.
