History and Heritage Fair
There was a History and Heritage Fair in Leicester recently.
I felt I should show my face at an event like this, which was held on a Saturday, when I was leading a Guided Walk in the afternoon, so I duly turned up.
The event was held at the Jewry Wall Museum and Vaughan College, which are housed in the same building in the historic city of Leicester.
I was glad I went, as it was a very good selection of stalls from various organisations involved in the city's heritage.
Among the groups with stalls were Leicester Civic Society and the Victorian Society, and I am glad to say that it was very well attended.
My only regret was that I had not been invited to take part as an exhibitor. Well, maybe next year....
